The Ludwigsburg Institute of Cultural Management is particularly active in the field of applied research with practical relevance. Our academics work on research projects, publications and reviews to solve issues of cultural practice and academic-methodological questions. The renowned research carried out at Ludwigsburg especially focuses on the fields of cultural studies, marketing in cultural tourism, cultural management and development, and human-resources management.
Supporting junior academics is another priority. In their theses and dissertations, our master’s students and doctoral candidates investigate current issues in cultural management that often affect the management of cultural institutions directly.
